Downtown Staunton Engagement Session | Stuanton Wedding Photographer
Oh my word these two. Let’s start by saying I received an email from this lady a month or so ago when all this COVID mess first hit. Her email sent me into my “problem solving mode” instantly because we needed to find a new venue for their day (and it wasn’t their choice or decision!!).
Oh yeah… and the are getting married on 10-10-20 which if you are in the wedding world at all, you know that this day has been BOOKED UP for probably 90% of all wedding vendors in the world. So the likely hood of them getting a new venue in their home town was SLIM.
Thank the Lord for Chelsea with One Fine Day Events for SAVING THE DAY and found an adorable venue!! The stars aligned ya’ll! So knowing all of this I knew that this engagement session would be a breeze for them because they had already tackled a challenge that no one anticipated! When we first met I just knew we would be great friends because their sense of style, their kind spirits, and David’s infectious laugh! -If you’ve heard it you know!! 🙂 Their energy throughout the session was amazing despite the heat and their patience to get the last shot of the night was so appreciated!
We all wanted to get a wide shot at the front of the train station building but the sun was too harsh for 90% of the session. They changed outfits and were so sweet to switch back to their first outfits again to grab the shot we all waited for!! I think it was well worth the wait too!!
The entire session went perfectly and they were able to do the more advanced posing so quickly!! Even though they had never really done professional photos it didn’t seem like it! I loved hearing their funny stories with this location in downtown Staunton and thought it would be so cool to remember those days with their engagement photos!
I cannot wait to see these two later this year and photograph their wedding at the beautiful Cana Barn!! Enjoy a few of my favorites from the shoot!
