Old Town Alexandria & Great Falls National Park Engagement Session | Alexandria Wedding Photographer

Tiffany has been a friend of mine for a few years now and I have to say that I have never met a more selfless and loving woman!! When I met Keith this past winter and saw how much he loved and cared for Tiff I knew he was the one for her. We love getting to know our couples because it helps us get to know their personalities and how to best serve them on the wedding day. And after spending this cloudy and rainy weekend with these two exploring the beautiful town of Alexandria, we cannot wait to capture their wedding day!

These two are tying the knot at the beautiful Hunting Hills Country Club in Roanoke, VA but they wanted to incorporate their love of hiking and traveling together in their engagement session. Of course, James and I loved this idea and I had way too much fun planning this time out with Tiffany!

We had not been to Old Town Alexandria before and I have to say we will be back!! Keith is actually from that area and he was sharing all the hidden gems about the town that we will have in our notes for the future! They also wanted to take us to one of their favorite hikes in Virginia: Great Falls National Park. I am so glad they gave us the tour because we hadn’t been there before either and had no idea the trails led down to this spot overlooking the river.

Keith & Tiffany were even down to stop by the oh so popular spot at the Washington Monument with those gorgeous cherry blossom trees!! But sadly the rains beat us to it and ruined our plans to walk around the DC area!! But that just means we will have to make sure we go back in the future right?!

James and I love to travel and now that the world is opening up again we are so pumped to explore new places! But we will definitely be back to Alexandria to see all the beautiful homes and see more of Great Falls. But for now, I will enjoy looking back at this engagement session at Old Town Alexandria and Great Falls National Park! Enjoy a few of my favorite moments from the trip!
