Michael & Jessica’s Engagement Session at the Thunder Ridge Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway
These two had a very different engagement session at the Blue Ridge Parkway than what we are used to giving our couples. The weather was a little iffy but we all decided to chance it anyway. Well… the skies opened up. Like looked like death opened up! We tried to get lucky with a few lightning bolts in the photos but no such luck. We quickly ran to our cars to get out the storm and even had an eventful drive home dodging trees that had fallen down!! That storm was a really bad one!! Michael and James had to get out of the cars and move one of the trees!!
So we decided to meet up again at the same spot on the Blue Ridge Parkway at a later date only to get our beautiful sunset stolen by the smoke from fires on the west coast. But I still love the views at this Blue Ridge Parkway Overlook!
But even though the weather conditions were outside our control, I’m still so impressed by Michael and Jessica showing up and absolutely killin it! You could hang out with these two and never stop laughing! Michael is the classic goofy, hilarious, and fun groom! And while Jessica may try to tame him a little bit, we both know that’s a huge part of why she loves him.
